Feb 05, 2019

How often do you go to the temples and draw lots?
In Taiwan, we usually pray for the safety and health while lots of charms selling in temples for you to bring home or carry all the time to keep these blessings effective.
This Chinese new year, we went to the temple and wished for the good luck.

As everyone did, we drew the lots with expectation as well as nervousness; after confirmed with Gods, we took the number to ask for the result.
Shockingly undesirable signs were shown on the lots, the worst ones called "xia xia", and we were pretty upset that time wondering if there would be any luck happened this year.

Back to the office, we immediately projected our depression onto design which depicted the lot and the divining blocks with the result "xia xia".
Coincidentally, the designer happened to misspelled the "bad luck" as " lucky bad"; this reminded us actually somethings might be unfavorable at this moment while it would turn to be good with different attitude and perspective.

Lucky bad means you should be aware of everything happened this year with humble and modest heart, thereby keeping you away from danger or insecureness.
In conclusion, we are thankful and respectful to this experience which brought us more comprehension and creativity; "xia xia" never really means the upcoming misfortune unless you lose your optimism and determination. Isn't it?
